Treasurer

A Sacramento-region finance executive with over 25 years of experience in private wealth management, Jason Bell brings deep expertise in investment strategy and nonprofit financial stewardship to the JBMF board. As an owner, partner, and former Chief Investment Officer of a $1.5 billion registered investment advisory firm, he developed institutional-grade investment policy, led investment committees, and managed private capital sponsor selection prior to the firm’s successful sale in 2021.

His career also includes senior leadership roles within national bank equity research, and he co-founded the Sacramento Business Review, a regional publication serving the local business community.

A dedicated community member, Jason volunteers in Placer County and serves on several nonprofit boards across the Sacramento region. Outside of work, he is an instrument-rated commercial pilot, a lifelong skier, and an avid scuba diver — passions he enjoys sharing with his family.
